13. How can you relate The Law of Conservation of Energy and The Law of Conservation of Mass to your life, like in studying and how you treat other people around you?
The Law of Conservation of Mass dates from Antoine Lavoisier's 1789 discovery that mass is neither created nor destroyed in chemical reactions. In other words, the mass of any one element at the beginning of a reaction will equal the mass of that element at the end of the reaction. If we account for all reactants and products in a chemical reaction, the total mass will be the same at any point in time in any closed system. Lavoisier's finding laid the foundation for modern chemistry and revolutionized science.
The Law of Conservation of Mass holds true because naturally occurring elements are very stable at the conditions found on the surface of the Earth. Most elements come from fusion reactions found only in stars or supernovae. Therefore, in the everyday world of Earth, from the peak of the highest mountain to the depths of the deepest ocean, atoms are not converted to other elements during chemical reactions. Because of this, individual atoms that make up living and nonliving matter are very old and each atom has a history. An individual atom of a biologically important element, such as carbon, may have spent 65 million years buried as coal before being burned in a power plant, followed by two decades in Earth's atmosphere before being dissolved in the ocean, and then taken up by an algal cell that was consumed by a copepod before being respired and again entering Earth's atmosphere (Figure 1). The atom itself is neither created nor destroyed but cycles among chemical compounds. Ecologists can apply the law of conservation of mass to the analysis of elemental cycles by conducting a mass balance. These analyses are as important to the progress of ecology as Lavoisier's findings were to chemistry.

Figure 1: Hypothetical pathway of a carbon atom through an ecosystem
Because elements are neither created nor destroyed under normal circumstances, individual atoms that compose living organisms have long histories as they cycle through the biosphere. In this depiction, a carbon atom moves from coal buried beneath the Earth's surface to a power plant and into the atmosphere. It eventually dissolves in water and is taken up by an algal cell, where it is then consumed by a copepod. Labels also indicate the length of time that the atom spends in each compartment

22. are there instances in your life when you feel you are treated as an object
In my opinion..
Yes.
Explanation:
I feel that I am treated as an object when my friends and family only call me when they need something from me but take me for granted when they don’t need anything. When a situation like this happens, I feel like an object being valued while still usable but thrown away when useless.
In the class, some of my classmates give me attention if they need something like borrowing money or needing help with their homework. Once they are done, they never bother to talk to me anymore.
Even though I experience such treatment, but I never think of doing this to anyone. Regardless of the color, whether rich or poor, I always treat others fairly. I know how it feels to be treated as an object.

29. Was there an occasion in your life when you felt you were not treated fairly
Answer:
This question is almost as interesting as some of the answers.
I suppose, relative to the few responses so far, I look at life a bit differently.
On the whole, relative to the first perspective of your question, I have been treated very fairly. Relative to the second perspective, I think my life has reflected, thereby treated me with, the same regard and respect I’ve put into it.
I have never approached life in the context that I was owed anything. Consequently, I view life as a daily process and something which, relative to whatever comes my way, I can either bring positive and encouraging dynamics into it or…I can bring negative and disruptive dynamics in.
Regardless, whatever I bring in I have to accept the consequences. Moreover, just because I bring positivity into my life, there’s absolutely NO GUARANTEE that I will reap positive influences or consequences!
As for karma, as mentioned in another post, I don’t know that I believe my karma from another life dictates necessarily how this one treats me. Karma can, from my perspective, help guide our lives today but I don’t think it’s some energy that directs or delivers anything to us.
Karma, for me, is what we leave and what we create. As far as how that comes back to us…..I hope it gives us more compassion and enlightenment!
sorry kung mataas piliin nyo nlng po ang may point hehe
